Community Services assist low-income families and individuals to move from public assistance to self-sufficiency.

The application for services begins with an intake and counseling session with a case manager.  This is a process through which the needs and eligibility of the individual or family applying for services is determined.  Working together, a plan of action is developed to resolve the current emergency situation and move toward self-sufficiency.

The case manager may recommend one or more of the following services based on program guidelines and income: utility and energy assistance, housing assistance, appliance repair and replacement, and transportation services.

Please click on the links to the left to learn more about the programs offered.  To find a case manager in your area who can guide you through the application process, please click on the link to Community Action Providers.
